Supporting capacities of Iraqi civil society organizations

UNITAD has supported the capacities of Iraqi civil society organizations, including in the area of digitization and documentation. This is done through capacity building in the fundamentals of electronic discovery, focusing on machine-learning aided review, search, quality control checks and others. With these trainings, the national specialists categorize records and documents, improving the efficiency of data retrieval and evidence analysis.

Civil society organizations have a crucial role to play as they work closely with their communities, including vulnerable groups, and can support accountability and justice processes, as well as the healing of communities.
