Psychosocial Support Hub
The Investigative Team concluded its mandate on 17 September 2024 pursuant to Security Council resolution 2697 (2023), and is no longer operational. This website captures its work and overall achievements. It is not updated.
Clinical psychologists retained by the Investigative Team over the course of the mandate brought with them an expertise in mental health and working with vulnerable individuals, such as survivors of sexual violence, traumatized children, and adults within the criminal justice system.
If you have been through a life-threatening experience, lost loved ones or witnessed violence, you may be dealing with the effects of trauma. In the aftermath of mass atrocities, wars and violence, trauma can disrupt your life, your family and your entire community. Therefore, it is essential that trauma survivors receive support with their mental health.
To assist, these clinic psychologists developed resources to inform and support trauma survivors. If you experience a condition that is affecting your mental health and are looking for specific information about different types of issues, please visit the pages below to see if there are any topics relevant to you.
These resources have also been translated into Kurdish. In addition, the Team identified videos specifically for children developed by Sesame Street, which are also in Kurdish.
