Special Adviser Meets the Speaker of the Parliament
03 March 2021, Baghdad - Pivotal meeting between the Special Adviser and Head of the Investigative Team (UNITAD) Karim A. A. Khan QC and the Speaker of the Parliament of Iraq Mr. Mohammed Al-Halboosi today, to discuss the importance of moving forward with the necessary legislative steps to authorize the prosecution of ISIL members for War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide in Iraqi courts.
