02 March 2021, Baghdad - Special Adviser Karim A. A. Khan QC held fruitful discussions today in Baghdad with Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Iraq, Mr. Hassan Al-Kaabi, Head of the Parliament's Legal Committee, MP Rebwar Hadi, as well as the committee's Deputy, MP Mohamed Al-Ghazzi.

The importance of moving forward with pending legislation authorizing the prosecution of ISIL members for War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide in Iraqi courts was recognized by all.
